The app “TmpChannel”; (the “App”) and the website tmpchannel.com (the “Site”) is operated by Voltum with Dutch Chamber of Commerce number (KVK nummer) 86499602 (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) We make it easy to create and manage temporary single purpose channels within Slack.

For a better experience, while using our App, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Email address. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our App, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products) on the Site called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, browser name, browser version, the time and date of your use of the Service and other statistics.

Tracking

Our analytics tool (Plausible) does not track people across their devices and across websites and apps that they visit. All the data is isolated to a single day, single website and single device only. We do not attempt to generate a device-persistent identifier because they are considered personal data under GDPR. We do not use cookies, browser cache nor the local storage. We do not store, retrieve nor extract anything from visitor’s devices.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.

This Site uses technical cookies mostly, to log you in automatically. Additionally, the Site uses session cookies. Information stored in these cookies contain no name, address or other personal information, and cookies are deleted as soon as you stop using the Site.

This Site does not use any tracking cookies. Our analytics tool (Plausible) is tracking unique visitor count without the use of cookies. We do not attempt to generate a device-persistent identifier because they are considered personal data under GDPR. We do not use cookies, browser cache nor the local storage. We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Slack data

When a user grants the App access to its Slack workspace, the App gets access to the following Personal Data from Slack about the user: email, title and the name of the organization that owns the Slack workspace. If a person signs in using Slack on the Website, we will get information about that person (name and e-mail). This is usually done as part of the process to setup payment details with our payment provider Stripe. Name and e-mail are saved as long as the user keep the App authorized for its Slack account.

Billing

When a user decides to setup payment details, the processing of these details will be managed by the third-party payment provider Stripe. We do not receive any bank account or credit card information from this process.

View

If you want to know what information App has recorded about you, or if you want to change your personal data, you can contact us via [email protected]. App will forward the requested information to you within four weeks (but we’re usually faster).

Delete

Whenever you uninstall the app from your Slack workspace, we will remove all your personal information. This is completely self-serve.

Retention

As stated in our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), App will retain information necessary to supply the service provided by App as long as the app has access to your Slack Workspace. As soon as you uninstall App, we will remove all personal information. After one (1) year of inactivity, App will delete all existing copies, unless Processing of Personal Data is required according to applicable legislation.
